9/10/2017

On 5/10/17 the boys and girls football matches were on in Martinstown. The boys matches were on at 10 o’ clock and the girls were on at 11 o’ clock. The girls won the first game but lost the final. The boys won all of their games and won the final. Ellie was the girls captain and Paddy was the boys captain. All the teams were very good in my opinion. The captains of the winning teams gave a speech. Cian Ryan soaked Paddy while he was giving his speech. It was hilarious to watch. We had our lunch on the bus going back. We had a great day.  (By Evie Stoddart)

On the 5/10/17 we went to Martinstown for a football blitz. The boys were playing the first match. They played very well and beat Glenbrohane by 3 points. In the second match against Kilbehenny they played even better. The last match for the boys was the final against Glebrohane. The parents and the subs cheered them on. The boys played fantastic and won well. Paddy was the captain and was presented with the cup. The girls played next .We played very well. We beat Glenbrohane. Kilbehenny won against Glenbrohane as well so we were straight into the final. Kilbehenny had a strong team. Kilbehenny won but we will be back next year. (By Ali Quane)

Thursday at 20 past 9 we left to go to Martinstown. The trip was about 20 to 25 minutes. Once we got there we got togged out and got a pep talk. We got warmed up and watched Kilbehenny play Glenbrohane. Soon we had to play Glenbrohane. We won and played Kilbehenny next. We beat them and we got to the final. We beat Glenbrohane in the final and won the cup. I had a great day. (By Liam Bourke)
