sports evening

12/6/2018

Last night was the 43rd year of our annual sports evening and as always, we had a very enjoyable evening full of activity and fun. This year Galbally, Kilbehenny and Ballylanders took part in our football blitz. The final was a cracking game where we just about got the better of Ballylanders. Well done to all of our boys and girls. Our joint captains Ellie Martin and Paddy English were delighted to accept the cup.

A big thank you to James Murphy and John Ryan for doing MC on the night. This service was provided completely free of charge which we greatly appreciated. Thanks to the Liam Lynch pipe band for creating a great atmosphere before the finals. Thank you also to Johnny Cleary for referring the blitz. Finally, thank you to all our parents who helped out in anyway in making our sports evening such a success.

Well done to Chloe O’ Keefe who is only in 3rd class and managed to raise a fantastic €250 on the night for the "Make A Wish foundation". Chloe has also been supporting the "Rapunzel foundation".
