taking Learning outdoors.

On Wednesday the fourth of October we went outside to play some maths games. There were lots of games to play, for example there was hopscotch but with counting in twos! There was a game with eighteen hula hoops and you get a bean bag and you had to throw it into a hoop and hop to that hop while adding on two each time. The first to the end wins! What a great way to practice our times tables! Second class played lots of different skipping and hopscotch games to practice adding on ten! (By Chloe O' Keefe, third class)
